Feeling miserable in the rain? These gorillas too
Exactly like any group of people caught out in a rainstorm without an umbrella. And the way the mother protected her baby, so beautiful.đź’™
I love how Big chief is like “just go ladies” then when he goes last he’s all “eeeee”
Their expressions are priceless! It’s like the same look I would have if I was stuck outside having to run back in getting mud all over my feet and toes. So relatable.

40 Ton Humpback Whale Leaps Entirely Out of the Water! A Video by Craig Capehart
It was a rare clear, crisp, cold, winter day offshore Mbotyi in Pondoland, Eastern Cape province, South Africa (formerly Transkei).
The seas were unusually calm that day on the Indian Ocean. That wouldn’t last long, soon returning to howling winds, whitecap waves, and giant swells! Did I mention it was cold – on land, at sea, and in the water?!
We are four SCUBA divers in a small “rubber duck” inflatable boat with two powerful 110 hp four stroke outboard motors. Clive is captain, Carlos is divemaster, and Levi is deckhand.
We are hunting for sardines. It is the annual world famous “South African Sardine Run”, a mass migration of pilchard fish up the east coast of Africa.
Actually, we are not interested in the sardines but rather the predators they attract. Hungry bottlenose and common dolphins herd the long line of small sardines into compact groups called “bait balls”. Once a ball is formed, a feeding frenzy ensues. Dolphins, sharks, and birds feast on the dense pack of small fish.
An ultralight airplane is overhead, looking for the action. Sightings are radioed to us and off we go at breakneck speed, hoping to record some real action. (Marius Nel, pilot)
Sadly, our six or seven hours daily on the water entail mostly waiting, waiting, and waiting a little longer until we find the elusive sardine bait ball.
Entertaining us while we wait are migrating humpback whales. Some are a mothers with calves. Some are males traveling in small groups.
This day, there were few sardine sightings but the whales seemed to be everywhere! An unexpected bonus!
This video shows a humpback whale mother cow swimming with a calf. It shows an adult 40 ton whale on its back, slapping both its left and right fins on the water, then leaping entirely out of the water!
It seems that never before has a recording been made of an adult humpback whale leaping entirely out of the water! A very rare event, indeed.
Dolphins and even Great White Sharks have been seen flying out of the water, but this is a first for an adult humpback whale!
Note: I sometimes have to remind my northern hemisphere friends that although it is summer in July and blisteringly hot and dry in parts of America and Europe, in South Africa it is exactly the opposite! It is dark, cold, winter now! Did I mention that it is cold?

Whale Gently Pushes Paddleboarder With Fin
A drone captured the incredible moment a whale pushed a paddleboard with its fin.
Maximiliano Jonas filmed the amazing footage off the coast of Puerto Madryn, Argentina, on August 31.
Maximiliano used a drone to capture the moment a Southern right whale approached a paddler board on which his friend Analia Giorgetti was sitting.
Incredibly, the whale gently pushed the paddleboard forward with one of its fins, in a video that has gone viral online.

Skiing with the bear on the slope – 9 Martie 2021, Partia Cocosul Predeal Romania, by Mister Fox
A ski instructor sees a bear appear on the slope and stops all skiers descending in that direction.

Watch These Bears Walk on Hind Legs Entertaining Surprised Tourists
A mother grizzly bear and her two cubs followed a hiker, and he kept his cell phone camera rolling during the entire encounter. Most people would be paralyzed by fear but not 74-year-old Geoffrey Glassner, who was visiting National Park in Alaska recently when the bears followed him.
Glassner remained calm the whole time. He hoped the grizzly family would turn off the trail, but they just kept coming. The cubs wouldn’t stop, and of course protective mother followed close behind. #InsideEdition

Woman takes selfie as bear sniffs her hair on hiking trail in Mexico
Heart-stopping video from Mexico shows the moment a black bear walks right up to a group of hikers and begins sniffing a woman’s hair. At one point, the woman even took out her cellphone to take a selfie with the animal, and the bear stands up next to her on its hind legs – clearly ready for a close-up.
not a smart move” ???? she was perfectly calm as everyone else was. brava to those girls!! were you there? she was incredible, and you’re judging her taking a selfie!! very rude!!!!
yelling and trying to intimidate the bear only works when there is a decent distance between the bear and humans. Once it gets this close, you don’t want to antagonize the animal, so these young women did the right thing—very cool under pressure!
Very brave lady.she stayed calm and didn’t get frightened.she is alive today just because of this Technic she applied

Extraordinary Octopus Takes To Land
Octopuses are marine animals, that live and breath underwater, so at low tide one would expect them to be imprisoned in rocky pools. This extraordinary species found in Northern Australia is like no other Octopus, and land is no obstacle when hunting for Crabs.

love the way they filmed this. Those close-up shots make it seem like the octopus is a sort of alien and the sound design just makes it better.

Kudu and Wild Dogs
That was an exciting video. Never seen one where the Kudu got on top of the dogs. That Kudu was bad ass.
Those tsk noises. No..no.no… never seen those horrible wild dogs eat literally everything alive… I loved this video. Very much indeed! Those Impala & buffaloes who were eaten alive would be rolling of joy in heaven.
Did the lady whose commentary we hear know that a wild dog pack will eat its prey alive, much like a gang of hyenas? She’s getting all emotional as if these wild predators are Fido and Max and Blue down at her neighborhood dog run. The Kudu is a magnificent antelope and is just defending itself against a pack of predatory hunters.
The Kudu got so lucky there was water African wild dogs are one of the most successful predators in the wild – outrunning their pack is next to impossible
I’ve seen too many videos of those dogs eating everything imaginable, so yeah, I was rooting for the Kudu in this one. Way to be a boss and fight those land piranhas off—wait, now those land piranhas are attacking in the water too! Their new meta
